What is a Distance Reiki Session like?
While you sit in your office, relax on a beach, or cozy up in your own bed, you are invited to open yourself fully to receive the healing energies and blessings of Universal Energy. This is not a Zoom or video session. Instead, the session occurs remotely, allowing you to experience the benefits from anywhere.
During a Reiki session, the energy works to induce a state of deep relaxation, helping your body activate its parasympathetic nervous system—the part responsible for rest, healing, and regeneration. This state of deep calm enhances your body's natural ability to restore balance, reduce stress, and support overall well-being.
At our scheduled time, I will reach out via text or email to confirm you are ready. I will also ask you to set a strong intention for a full and complete healing. During the session, your energy field will be gently and energetically supported, rebalancing and activating your innate healing abilities.
Once the session is complete, I will notify you via text or email. If you'd like, we can also debrief during a brief 15-minute phone call, where I will share insights and answer any questions.
This remote approach allows you to experience the profound calming and healing benefits of Reiki from anywhere, at your convenience.

How can I get ready before my Reiki session?
If possible, start practicing a grounding and clearing meditation several days before your session—daily, if you can—and especially on the morning of your appointment. On the day of your session, make sure you have quiet, uninterrupted time for the 60 or 90-minute experience. Stay well-hydrated and throughout the day, tune into your breath often—this helps you stay present and focused, avoiding thoughts about the past or future.
Just before your session begins, take a moment to write down how you're feeling physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We will use this as a baseline to compare with how you feel after the session, so you can observe your shifts and progress.

What do I do during my Reiki session?
During your session, you will be held in a sacred space of utmost compassion and care. As the energetic work unfolds, you may experience a variety of sensations, especially in the different energetic centers of your body, as you intentionally open yourself to receive the Universal Energies for your highest good. Together, we may work to move out energy blockages and release stagnant energies.
It’s important to focus on your breathing throughout the session—keep it natural and relaxed, avoiding holding your breath, especially if challenging emotions surface. Notice the sensations in your body and allow yourself to rest in silence and stillness. Focusing inward creates the perfect environment for meditation and self-reflection, helping you deepen your awareness.
This is also an opportunity to observe your breath and gently shift out of 'fight or flight' mode, promoting relaxation and inner peace. Embrace this sacred space as a gift for self-care, healing, and connecting with your inner guidance.

What can I do after my Reiki session?
Immediately after your session, take a moment to assess how you’re feeling physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This will serve as a helpful comparison to observe your progress and shifts over time.
You might consider continuing with the clearing and grounding meditation daily, spending time outdoors, staying well-hydrated, and listening to your body’s needs for rest and relaxation.
