Solace Reiki, Energy and Wellness Policies

Solace Reiki, Energy & Wellness Policies

Background and Training

I have been practicing energy work since 2017, training on Vancouver Island, BC, and in St. Albert, AB. I am a Registered Reiki Practitioner with the International Association of Reiki Practitioners (IARP) and study Medical Intuition through mentorship with Tina M. Zion.

In addition, I hold a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Alberta and a Chartered Herbalist Diploma from Dominion College of Herbalism in Burnaby, BC.

My practice is rooted in the belief that all beings are interconnected and interdependent. I fully respect allopathic medicine and allied health professions and work collaboratively with healthcare providers.

Reiki is an ancient energy technique and a complementary modality that empowers you to activate your natural healing abilities, supporting overall wellness and stress reduction. It is not a cure but an effective tool for enhancing health and vitality.

Who I Work With

I serve people of all ages (from birth to 111+) who seek Reiki for:

  • General wellness and stress relief

  • Specific tension or pain

  • Support during medical treatments (e.g., oncology patients, under physician guidance)

  • Children and teens experiencing stress or discomfort

  • Adults dealing with stress, pain, insomnia, or fatigue

Benefits of Reiki & Client Expectations

Reiki helps reduce stress and creates an environment conducive to healing. It’s often used alongside traditional medical treatments under a healthcare provider’s guidance.

Initial Session: Begins with a brief interview and intake form. I ask questions to tailor the session to your needs.

Privacy & Confidentiality: Always maintained, in accordance with the IARP Code of Ethics.

Session Experience: Clients lie fully clothed on a massage table or sit comfortably in a chair. I work through standard hand positions, focusing on the head, torso, legs, feet, and occasionally the back. You can request specific areas to be focused on or avoided.

During the session: Relax and communicate freely if anything feels uncomfortable—physically or emotionally. I want you to fully relax and feel safe.

Restrictions: I reserve the right to refrain from working on someone under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If I feel my safety is compromised, the session will be halted immediately.
